I dont agree with the posts on questions. If you are going to do something controversial then you have to expect questions and oponents. 'Outsiders' is a terrible word to use too. Have you never even considered the fact that many people against self harm were once probably self harmers too? Outsiders no, not at all. Probablly know more about it than everyone who is still cutting - as they can see both sides. With reference the the 'life isnt all sunshine...' quote. No, it isn't. We all have our traumas, but what actually makes the person is how they deal with it and whether you have the humility to see that life goes on, and it isn't all about razorblades and ugly scars covering you body that no matter how hard you may 'try' or try, people will still notice. Put it this way. When you get married, do you want to wear a dress that covers all those mistakes you made, or do you want to get rid of the stigma that will become attached to you, pretty much for the rest of your days.
